Mumbai police is saying there were 10 terrorists. But I suspect some more were there who got away. IB of India believes there were 20 terrorists.

 I think I have the proof that some people got away with local help. Times of India food editor Sabina was stuck in her room in Taj on 26′th. She was sending text messages to her hubby in Delhi. Her last sms was “ They are in my bathroom”.  Her body was recovered later. Her husband, after not getting any more messages, called her carrier Airtel. They located the last signal from her phone in Raigad which is about 2-3 hours from Mumbai. It is very close from sea route though ! May be one hour. For 1993 bomb attacks on Mumbai, Dawood managed to unload RDX there.

Here is another source saying there were 23 total terrorists. “I think there are more. My sources say (there were) at least 23 of the gunmen,” said Farhana Ali, a former CIA and Rand Corp counter-terrorism analyst and expert on militant networks. Ali, who most recently visited India and Pakistan last month before the attacks, said her information came from Pakistan, but declined to further identify the source.

 Mr. Shrivardhankar’s story:  He fought back a terrorist at Cama hospital which is near CST and where top 3 mumbai cops died. The terrorist was carring AK47. He got deep gashes on his neck and bullet wounds on his back in the fight. He saw a terrorist in pathani kurta. Both the terrorists at CST were not wearing kurtas. One of them is Kasab, who is captured alive at Churni road and other is Ismail Khan who is captured dead.
